NVIDIA gaming renamed "Project SHIELD" to "SHIELD", price $ 349, sold out months later

 

 NVIDIA has said that the portable gaming machine "Project SHIELD" which the company introduced earlier this year, will be renamed the "SHIELD".

 
 It also revealed that the device will go on sale next month for $ 349. NVIDIA will start ordering SHIELD on 20/5 at shield.nvidia.com web address. In terms of configuration, the machine is equipped with 4 Tegra SoC, cellular chip with NVIDIA's latest quad-core processor, 72 graphics cores. It also comes with 2GB RAM, Screen 5 "720P resolution, Wi-Fi n standard, the analog hardware keys as well as the need to play the game. SHIELD runs on Android Jelly Bean but unknown 4.1 or 4.2. Apart ability to play the game for Android, the machine also supports more streaming games from the PC (this feature is only in beta stage). NVIDIA says it will soon complete it in the near future so that the user can transmit game from computer to SHIELD, "including the great games from Steam."
